If you are a Local business owner you will be pleased to know that Google have recently changed their algorithms in your favor, making it easier for local businesses to get onto the first page of Google, in your local area resulting in more customers, more sales, and more profit for your local business. Recently Google changed their algorithms in the way that search results are presented to the searcher, and they are directing people to local results, even if a town or city is not requested Google knows where the searcher is by their I.P. address of the computer that they are searching on. This even works when searches are made on a mobile device, using a system similar to sat nav. These results show up with a map showing where the business is located and lists the services that the local company provides, this only works though if you claim your position with Google places.
